Job Description

Front Desk Agent (FT)

This team member greets, registers, and makes room reservations for Hotel guests, and also acts as the first point of contact for Hotel guests. Handles credit, initial parking information, and provides an overview of guest services upon check-in.  Issues room keys and provides instructions to Bell Captain as needed. Responds to guest requests for information and resolves a guest problem as needed in order to exceed the guest expectations. Monitors room availability and maintains guest accounts. Answers inquiries pertaining to Resort & Casino amenities, services, shopping, dining, and entertainment, and provides travel directions as needed. Balances daily or shift audit in the online point of sales system. Maintains and balances cash bank as issued in accordance with policies and procedures. Performs all duties in a manner that continually supports the vision, mission, values, and principles of the Resort & Casino. Native American Preference applies, all applicants welcome.

Housekeeping Attendant (FT)

This team member is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of all interior and assigned exterior areas of the Casino. Ensures the cleanliness of assigned areas and floors throughout the Casino. Assists in tracking and maintaining appropriate levels of cleaning materials. Maintains floor care in all areas of the Casino. Assists with Event Center set up and break down as assigned. Stores and uses cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment safely and orderly. Operates vacuum cleaners, upholstery cleaner, floor care machines, and various other equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Reports unsafe and/or unsanitary conditions to the immediate attention of the immediate supervisor and Facilities management. Assists in emergency evacuation procedures as needed. Performs all duties in a manner that adheres to the guest service standards established by Win-River Resort & Casino’s Guests Service program. This team member ensures that overnight duties of the Hotel are completed, including maintaining and issuing guest billing. A strong combination of written and verbal communication skills to write, read, and comprehend written correspondence is required. The ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members in a positive manner is required. A minimum of three (3) years of related experience and/or training is preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and online point of sales systems is preferred. Native American Preference applies, all applicants welcome.

Counts and verifies all revenue collected from the Resort & Casino as scheduled and within established time frames. Must be able to learn the aspects of and operate the machinery and equipment of the Count Room. Drops and verifies kiosk bill acceptors. Understands and operates “New Wave” software and equipment. The ability to perform job functions in an atmosphere where priorities and deadlines may change frequently is required. Strong computer skills, with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and online accounting systems, are required. Previous experience in cash handling is preferred. Strong mathematical skills are preferred. Native American Preference applies, all applicants welcome.

Temporary Purchasing Specialist (FT)

This team member performs all duties associated with the purchasing cycle and is the primary backup for Accounts Payable. Experience with all functions of a professional office, involving clerical and administrative performance in an atmosphere where priorities and deadlines may change frequently is required. A strong combination of written and verbal communication skills to write, read, and comprehend written correspondence, concurrent with the ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members of the organization is required. Strong communication, mathematical, organizational, and analytical skills are required. A valid driver’s license is required. Strong computer skills including, but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, data entry, and 10-key skills are preferred. This position is for a specified period of time, generally no more than six (6) months.  Classification not eligible for benefits.  Tenure may be extended beyond six (6) months in accordance with the needs of the business, generally for seasonal obligations.
